August 15 to October 15

If there are no broadleaf weeds present, use Shaw's 30-0-6 with  50% XRT. This product provides a slow release feeding, thus giving the turf a dark green color for 8-10 weeks. Step 6
October 15 to December 1 (or after last mowing)

Use Shaw's 30-10-10 Starter & Winterizer or Shaw's 30-0-6 with 50% XRT to feed the turfgrass. These products will encourage stronger deeper rooting and will develop necessary carbohydrate reserves for the turfgrass plant to survive the winter.

Throughout the season, when establishing seeding and sodded turf areas, use 14-25-10 Starter. This product promotes quicker rooting for the turfgrasss plants to survive the new site.
